At Masoliver, we expanded our business with the creation of the dedicated GastroGourmet channel, aiming to meet the most demanding needs of chefs and bakeries in the kitchen. GastroGourmet encompasses both ambient and frozen product lines, a challenge for us, as until recently we only worked with ambient products. We have reinforced this challenge by adding professionals to the frozen product line within our current structure. This new channel will allow us to reach a greater number of customers, providing a 360-degree service.
The objective of the GastroGourmet project is to meet the demands of professionals (distributors, restaurants, chefs, and bakeries) seeking to differentiate themselves from the competition with innovative products for their creations. Two main lines of business stand out: fusion cuisine, which blends Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, and haute cuisine, combining French and Spanish cuisine, which have evolved hand in hand.
In Asia, the brands Myata (Japan, sauces and vinegars) and Chain Kwo (China, sauces and vinegars) stand out. As for brands with a more Mediterranean touch, we include such prestigious brands as Pidy (Belgium, bouchées and tartlets), Ista (Italy, preserved vegetables), Mengazzoli (Italy, vinegars), Canuti (Italy, fresh frozen pasta), Algues de Bretagne (France, spherified pearls), Giuliano Tartufi (Italy, truffle-derived products), Didess (Belgium, sweet and savory decorations), and Gli Aironi (Italy, more technical products such as crispy puffed rice with flavors).
The main clients we target with GastroGourmet are à la carte restaurants and pizzerias, banqueting restaurants with a wide catalog of appetizers, first courses, and special decorations, and event planning hotels and catering companies.
Our catalog is the success of the project: with almost 1,000 items, we offer a wide range of high-quality international brands tailored to the Mediterranean palate. We highlight our ambient and frozen product divisions.
Masoliver is currently one of the leading companies in the quality food and beverage distribution sector in Spain. In recent years, thanks to the new leadership of the second generation, Sandra Masoliver, we have adapted to the market, strengthening our position within the sector.
